Miss Kittin
The Cultural Questionnaire.
What’s your favorite line from a movie?
The one I am thinking of is in French, so I’ll give an Oscar Wilde quote instead:
“I put all my genius into my life. I put only my talent into my works.”
Which movie do you love but would be embarrassed to talk about in a serious, intellectual conversation?
None. I can talk about Star Wars or Showgirls in a serious intellectual conversation!
The tune of the moment?
Waking up early to enjoy the beautiful morning light of California.
Name a museum where you’d be happy to be locked in for the night?
Louvre! It’s so big I would finally get a chance to see everything without being bothered by tourists. I hate museums just for standing in line…
The three books you’d take with you for a very, very, very long 100% environmentally friendly trip overseas?
Please Kill Me from Legs Mc Neil, the oral history of punk.
Chaim Potok, My Name is Asher Lev.
And a dictionnary.
You can give two “cultural items” (be it a book, a painting, a movie, a record or anything else), one to the person you like the most, one to the person that bores you the most. What would these two items be?
For the person I like the most I would do a drawing myself and frame it.
For the person that bores me the most I would give a diary and a pen and push him to write every day.
What painting would you steal if you could magically become invisible for a few hours?
Hard one… Probably an Edward Hopper one from his Long Island series.
Which artist, alive or not, in any given field, would you love to party with for a wild, wild night?
Dave Grohl!
