The Work Questionnaire.
What made you go the way you chose to go?
Curiosity and laziness. I actually wanted to be a Chef, but it seemed too hard.
What’s the greatest difficulty you had to overcome to do what you’re doing now?
Selling art. Not that I want to keep artworks for myself, but I definitely don’t see myself as a salesperson in the same way, it seems, other people do.
What’s the greatest difficulty you face on a daily basis to keep on doing what you’re doing?
To convince people that I’m not doing it for the money and that Art is NOT about money.
When did you find yourself thinking, “Well, this is it. I’m really doing what I want now”?
Every time I have the feeling that I’ve done something important nobody else would have done.
How did you set your activity up? What was the process that led you to do what you’re doing?
I dropped Graphic design, went to The Art Academy, then after a while I started showing my friends’ work in my apartment, which gradually became a professional gallery where the same people still show their art. So you could say it more or less happened by accident. And here I am!
How do you imagine the future?
My daughters being happy.
What would you consider to be the main quality in order to survive in your field?
Integrity.
And what is the indispensable flaw that someone should have in order to get into your business?
The desire to make a difference. I mean, you never get to know if you did.
